CEO Office
Spring 2020
Gensler was asked to design a CEO high-rise office located in Houston, TX. The high-rise office was to be located on the 28th floor of the new building. The client desired a unique triangular building shape. This would enable people to recognize the company by the building structure. The client was in need of a large conference room that would seat up to fourteen people. Gensler designed the conference room to have two glass panels enclosing the space, to allow for a more spacious feel to the area. To allow for more privacy when in use, a general 5 1/2” interior wall with acoustic padding was used between the conference room and the lobby/waiting area. Some of the furniture selected is from Gunlocke. Gunlocke was chosen for its sleek, elegant appearance and comfort. Furniture was also chosen from National Furniture. Both of these companies have a lifetime warranty on their products, which provides added value to the client.

Hand Renderings
Below are two hand renderings that Michaela Gensler drew to be able to visualize the space.

Furniture Pieces
The furniture specified in this office is from Gunlock, National and Davis. These manufactures were specified to assist in making the space an executive area.
