Parker Condominium

Fall 2017

Gensler was asked to design an high-rise condominium apartment that is modern yet calming traditional style. This modern design apartment fulfills the client’s desire for an entertaining yet calm apartment. Unity of the gray tones used through the apartment add to the modern feeling, while pops of color give just enough variety to the modern vibe. Circular forms and lighting are added to the living area to contrast with the vertical lines. The bedroom in the apartment provides more of a formal feeling with the symmetric layout. 
The project was hand drafting after speaking with the client on their desire needs. After narrowing down a floor plan we discussed the traditional finishes for the condominium. This is expressed through the large floral patterns an the pops of color. Gray fabrics are sporadic throughout the condominium to still have the modern vibe. Once receiving approval on the floor plan and finishes, I hand rendered the floor plan and the focal points of the condominium.
