Little Pine Retail Shop

Gensler & Teale were asked to design a retail store that would be located on the SFA campus. The store would sell products that would be most in demand at a college retail shop. The shops customers would include current students, faculty, alumni and the Nacogdoches community. Gensler and Teale space-planned the shop based on what would attract customers. As customers walk by the front entrance people are able see a graphic wall with the logo and name of the shop. This provides the University free publicity and advertisement, as customers can take pictures in front of the wall helping promote the shop over social media.  After designing the space and rendering the area in Autodesk cloud, Gensler imported the renderings into Adobe Photoshop to make the space look more realistic. This allows the client to visualize the space with ease. The furniture pieces Gensler & Teale chose are from the manufacture company HON. HON furniture is used throughout the SFA campus currently. The materials selected throughout the shop are neutral, allowing the products to be the main attractions.
